The world of betting is vast and can be complex. For those who take their first steps in betting, there are some basic rules that they must know in order to be more successful and enjoy a more pleasant betting experience.

It is important to note that this list is not exhaustive and does not include all terms and  concepts.

Standard Terms in Online Gambling

Regulation Time or Full Game Unless specified in conjunction with the bet offer or otherwise in the sport-specific rules, all bets shall be deemed valid on the outcome at the end of “Regular Time” or “Full Match.” “Regulation Time” or “Full Game” is defined as interpreted in the official rules published by the applicable governing association.

For example, for the NBA, it establishes that the games are played in four periods of 12 minutes each.

This length of time represents an essential difference with respect to the FIBA set-up, since the players have eight more minutes of play.

This favors the teams ending their matches with high scores on their scoreboard.

It also benefits the audience, who enjoy the sporting spectacle for longer.

Therefore, if your bet only covers what happens in regulation time, it will be everything that happens in any of those four periods of 12 minutes.

Types of bets

There are many types of bets you can place among the sports betting products we offer.

single be

A single bet is one in which you bet on a single prediction in an event. To win, you must hit
the result.

multiple bets

A multiple bet is a bet on two or more individual events.

Double

It is a bet on two forecasts of different events. To win you must hit both results.

Patent

It covers seven bets on three predictions. It covers all possible single and multiple combinations for three forecasts, that is: 3 singles, 3 doubles, and 1 triple. To win, you must hit one or more predictions.

Like Trixie bets, a patent bet multiplies your original bet, so a patent bet of 1 unit costs 7 units.

Super Heinz

A super Heinz bet is a multiple bet with seven picks. It covers all the multiple combinations available for seven picks, i.e.: 21 double accumulators, 35 triple accumulators, 35 four accumulators, 21 five accumulators, 7 six six accumulators and 1 seven accumulator. To win you must get two (or more) forecasts right. A Super Heinz bet of 1 unit costs 120 units.

Goliath and Super Goliath

A Goliath bet consists of 247 bets on eight picks. Covers all possible multiple combinations for eight picks, i.e.: 28 double accumulators, 56 triple accumulators, 70 four accumulators, 56 five accumulators, 28 six accumulators, 8 seven accumulators and 1 accumulator Of eight. To win you must get two (or more) forecasts right. A Goliath bet of 1 unit costs 247 units.

A Super Goliath bet uses 9 forecasts instead of 8.
