Denver Broncos’ List of Potential Buyers Narrows

Broncos Head

The list of potential buyers for the Broncos has been narrowed to 5 of 13, according to Denver7.

The Broncos are one of the most iconic and well-known franchises in the NFL, making many interested in acquiring the team, which has accelerated the bidding process.

It is estimated that at the rate it is going for July, the franchise would have a new owner.

The interest that the first stage of the bidding generated by the team is unprecedented.

In fact, in the words of current CEO Joe Ellis, the intention has always been for a new owner to take over before the regular season starts in September. Ellis will help with the transition to the new owner before leaving his position with the team.

Groups interested in purchasing the equipment will be visiting the UCHealth Training Center this month or next as bidding enters its final stages.

The visit will be for interested groups to learn more about the real estate possibilities around the Training Center and Empower Field.

Among those interested in acquiring the equipment is Rob Walton, heir to the Walmart fortune.

According to an estimate by Forbes, Walton is positioned as the favorite to acquire the team due to its net worth of $70.5 billion. This amount of money gives him an advantage over the rest as he can easily outbid any offer that comes along.

Russell Wilson to lead the new project

Russell Wilson came to coach Nathaniel Hackett’s team to take control in the 2022 season. Wilson was decisive for the Seattle Seahawks in winning Super Bowl XLVIII, precisely against the Denver Broncos.

Wide receiver Courtland Sutton and defensive back Justin Simmons of the Denver Broncos agreed on

Tuesday to highlight characteristics similar to the leadership of quarterback Russell Wilson, with that of the idol of the team, former player Peyton Manning.

“I think everyone can feel it. I wasn’t around when Peyton was here, but from what I’ve heard, Russell’s leadership and energy are pretty similar,” Sutton said.

“His essence is just different. We know we have in him a guy who has been to the top of the mountain, who has won a Super Bowl, who knows what it’s like to be at the highest level, and those are the expectations that we know it will take us,” added the catcher.

“Having a guy like that around is exciting. Defensively it’s given guys confidence because now we know we’re going to compete, we’re going to be in games. Russell is known for a lot of different things in a positive way,” Simmons said.

The defender stressed that, unlike last season, in which the Broncos finished in last place in the AFC West with a record of seven wins and ten losses, they now aspire to a campaign that will take them to the playoffs.
